Chengresi Statue
Chengresi Statue depicts Avalokiteshvara, alternatively known as Chenrezig, in Tibetan Buddhism. Chenrezig is a venerated Bodhisattva who exemplifies compassion, representing the collective loving-kindness of all Buddhas.
Chenrezig is shown seated, either on a lotus throne or in a relaxed pose, with crossed legs and multiple arms. His hands may hold objects such as a lotus flower, rosary, jewel or vase. He often wears a crown, jewelry and clothing, expressing his Bodhisattva rank. His face emanates peace and compassion.
