Chakra Singing Bowl
Have you tried Meditating with a Chakra Singing bowl?
Playing a singing bowl before meditating allows the brain to synchronise with the sound frequencies of the bowl and assists in maintaining focus and relaxation.
You can use the bowl in private meditation by making the sounds yourself or in guided meditation by allowing someone else to play the bowl while you meditate. Using a meditation bowl comes down to two very simple steps – holding the bowl correctly and creating the soothing, melodic sounds.
The Chakra Symbolises the 7 Life Energies in a human body. Balancing and Healing these 7 chakras will help our Physical body and mind to be awakening.
How to play a Singing Bowl?
- Hold the Singing Bowl: Place the bowl on the palm of your hand, ensuring your hand is firm and stretched straight.
- Gently Tap the Bowl: Use the wooden mallet to lightly tap the bowl’s side to initiate the sound.
- Circular Motion: Apply equal pressure on the rim of the bowl with the mallet and begin to circle around it. Maintain a steady, even pace.
- Feel the Sound: Listen closely and feel the vibrations. Try to connect with the sound and the energy of the bowl.
- Balanced Rhythm: Avoid playing too fast, as it will cause the sound to break. Likewise, avoid playing too slow, as the bowl will stop producing sound. Aim for a balanced, meditative pace.
